Continuing Professional Development Training : A Must for Aspiring Real Estate Salesperson

RESA LAW of 2009

After Republic Act No. 9646 otherwise known as Real Estate Service Act (RESA) which took effect in July 30, 2009, existing and would-be real estate practitioners have to undergo Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in order to avail accreditation with Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) or to renew the same. 

In short, the law now states that for someone to become a legit real estate agent, one must undergo CPD in order to get a license from PRC. This is a move to professionalize and standardize the real estate practice to render a more efficient service.
